Attackers are inversely selected by draft position — the stronger your teams, the weaker your attackers (and vice versa).

Goals and assists are counted from the official World Cup stats on ESPN, available here.

If one of your attackers withdraws from their World Cup squad before the first game kicks off, you’ll receive the next best available player on your roster as a replacement. No replacements once the tournament is underway.

*Top teams ranked 1–24, underdogs 25–48 (by bookmaker odds).

• On the home page, select your group to view the leaderboard. Click an entrant to expand their team, and tap a card to flip it and see that player or team’s next fixture.
• The fixtures tab shows upcoming fixtures, filterable per entrant — you can also download a graphic of any entrant’s upcoming fixtures.
• The players tab has more information about every attacker in the sweepstakes. Not all countries have an attacker — the lowest-ranked nations on goalscoring odds miss out.
• The groups tab is a live World Cup group table showing which entrant has each team and attacker.
• The knockout tab is the live tournament bracket, from the Round of 32 through to the final, showing who owns every team still standing.
• There’s also a hidden mini game — whoever tops its leaderboard when the tournament ends wins a prize. (Admittedly, it’s not very well hidden if you’re on a desktop.)
• Add it to your Home Screen for one-tap access all tournament: from your pool’s page, tap Install (Android) or Share → “Add to Home Screen” (iPhone).

• 5 pts — Underdog team win (extra reward)

• 2 pts — Underdog team draw

No team points for winning the final or the third-place play-off — goals and assists still count in those games.

Knockout games always produce a winner — extra-time and penalty wins count as full wins.

One prize per person — if the same entrant would win two, they take the bigger one and the other passes to the next-highest scorer without a prize. (e.g. if the highest scorer also owns the World Cup winners, they take the €300, the €150 goes to the 2nd-highest scorer and the €100 to the 3rd.)

Tiebreaker: your two teams’ combined goal difference.
